Early Years Educator (Nursery)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join their nursery team in Sheffield . Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and implement creative, play-based learning experiences for children within your designated age group.
• Observe and document children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of practice and contribute to the nursery's success.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare.
• Experience working within an early years setting.
• A thorough understanding of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development in Sheffield .
