Early Years Educator - Nursery

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join a vibrant nursery in Birmingham . This role is crucial in providing a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children, supporting their holistic development from early infancy through to pre-school age. You will work as part of a dedicated team, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and fostering a love for learning. We are looking for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on children's lives, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in a supportive and engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early education programmes based on the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate learning journals.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop and lead engaging play-based activities that cater to individual children's needs and interests.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering open communication.
• Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are adhered to at all times.

Requirements

• CACHE Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and care.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
