Early Years Educator - Part-Time

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Educator to join their busy nursery in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5, following the principles of the EYFS framework .
• Engage children in a variety of play-based learning activities that promote their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Support children with their daily routines, including mealtimes, nappy changes, and rest periods.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment, ensuring all resources are accessible and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Requirements

• A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Childcare or a related field.
• Some experience working with young children in a professional setting.
• A basic understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a responsible attitude.
