Early Years Educator - Preschool

About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join their dedicated preschool team in Liverpool . This role is focused on delivering exceptional educational experiences and high-quality care to preschool-aged children, fostering their learning and development through play-based activities. You will be part of a supportive team committed to creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can reach their full potential, contributing to the positive atmosphere and educational standards of the setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative and stimulating learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual learning plans.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children, promoting their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates and engaging them in their child's learning journey.
• Work effectively as part of a dedicated early years team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the nursery's ethos.
• Ensure the preschool environment is well-maintained, organised, and resourced to a high standard.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Experience working within a preschool or early years setting, with a good understanding of the EYFS .
• Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage a diverse group of children.
• A genuine enthusiasm for early years education and a commitment to safeguarding.
