Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their popular nursery in Nottingham . This on-campus role is focused on providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children aged 0-5. You will play a key role in fostering their development across all areas, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to the foundational learning experiences of children within a well-regarded early years setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote child development.
• Observe, record, and report on children's progress, identifying any developmental needs.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of all children under your care at all times.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work in partnership with parents to support their child's learning and development at home.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
• A strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a genuine care for young children.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and first aid is desirable.
