Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their vibrant team in Norwich . This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development through play-based learning and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will work closely with other educators to implement engaging activities, support children's individual needs, and build positive relationships with parents and carers. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a broad range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development across all areas.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, identifying and addressing individual needs and providing targeted support.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering to strict safeguarding, hygiene, and health and safety protocols.
• Promote positive behaviour management strategies and support children's social and emotional development.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's progress and fostering a strong home-school partnership.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment within the nursery in Norwich .

Requirements

• NVQ/CACHE Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare.
• Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 in an early years setting.
• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
