About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their highly respected nursery in Plymouth . You will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth, working closely with a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional childcare. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum for early years children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safeguarding.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for all children.

Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., NVQ,CACHE).
• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication, observation, and planning skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child well-being.
