Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, play-based learning activities for children aged 0-5, promoting all areas of development.
- Observe, document, and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to learning portfolios.
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and stimulating learning environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide attentive and compassionate care, supporting children's emotional, social, and physical needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support children's learning journey and well-being.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's educational program and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an early years setting, working with children aged 0-5.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum for excellence in early years and relevant pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and adults.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and dedicated approach to childcare and education.
