About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and energetic Early Years Educator to join a highly regarded nursery and primary school in Leeds . This role focuses on providing exceptional care and education for children aged 0-5, fostering their development through play-based learning. You will create a stimulating and safe environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observe, record, and assess children's progress, identifying individual needs and areas for development.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and hygiene of all children under your care.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a cohesive learning community.
• Prepare and maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Early Years education, such as Level 2 or Level 3 CACHE or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observational skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to safeguarding.
