Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and experienced Early Years Educator to join their dedicated team in Sunderland . This role focuses on providing a safe, stimulating, and playful environment for children aged from birth to five years. You will play a crucial part in the early development of children, supporting their learning through play and exploration, and fostering essential social and emotional skills. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the foundational years of young children's lives within a supportive nursery setting in Tyne and Wear.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate children's curiosity and development across all learning areas.
• Observe and record children's progress, accurately documenting their achievements and development needs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and guardians, promoting effective home-school communication.
• Prepare and maintain a clean, organised, and inviting learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in childcare or early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3,CACHE Level 3).
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and caring demeanor.
• An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
