Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and experienced Early Years Educator to join their reputable nursery in Reading . This role is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children aged from birth to five years. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is an on-site role, essential for hands-on care and early education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement stimulating and age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and colleagues.
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and physical care of all children in your charge.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Work effectively as part of a team to provide high-quality childcare.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents and build strong relationships.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ).
• Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood development and a patient, caring nature.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
