Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is recruiting a passionate and nurturing Early Years Educator to join a highly regarded nursery and early learning centre in Cardiff . This pivotal role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where young children can explore, learn, and develop through play. You will be dedicated to providing exceptional care and early education, fostering social, emotional, and cognitive growth in line with the Foundation Phase curriculum. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will contribute to a positive and engaging atmosphere for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate play-based activities that support children's development across all areas of learning.
• Observe, track, and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Create a stimulating and inspiring learning environment, managing resources and classroom displays effectively.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and collaborative ethos within the setting.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in childcare, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting.
• A strong understanding of child development and the Foundation Phase curriculum.
• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care in Cardiff .
