About the Role

Our client is recruiting a nurturing and energetic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher for a reputable nursery and primary school in Belfast . This role is dedicated to providing a stimulating and secure environment where the youngest learners can explore, play, and develop essential skills during their crucial early years. You will be instrumental in implementing a play-based curriculum that caters to the holistic development of children, fostering their curiosity and love for learning from the very start.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a rich, play-based curriculum aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, identifying individual needs and next steps.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes exploration and creativity.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers to support early development.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and welfare for all children in your care.

Requirements

• Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a child-centred approach.
