About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their reputable school in Sunderland . This role focuses on providing a stimulating and play-based learning environment for children aged 3-5, adhering to the EYFS framework. You will play a crucial part in developing children's early literacy, numeracy, social, and emotional skills, preparing them for their transition into primary education. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a creative and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all children within the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and well-resourced learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
• Promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
• Experience in teaching or working within an Early Years setting, preferably with the EYFS curriculum.
• A strong understanding of child development and effective early learning pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
