About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the nursery's curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
• Mentor and support other early years practitioners, promoting best practices in teaching and learning.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of high-quality educational activities that meet the diverse needs of all children.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments, ensuring accurate and meaningful documentation of children's progress.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with parents and external agencies to support children's learning and development.

Requirements

• Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Significant experience as an Early Years Practitioner, with a strong focus on curriculum planning.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team of early years professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current educational research.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
