About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Manager to lead their successful childcare setting in Bristol . This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and education in line with statutory requirements and the EYFS framework . You will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated childcare professionals, fostering a positive and progressive environment, and building strong relationships with parents and the wider community. This is a pivotal position for an individual passionate about early childhood development and committed to achieving the highest standards in childcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and inspire the nursery team, providing professional development and performance management.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality education and care in compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee nursery operations, including budgeting, staffing, health and safety, and admissions.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Implement and monitor effective quality assurance systems to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote the nursery's vision and values, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
Requirements
- Level 4 or 5 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a management or deputy management role within an early years setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
