Early Years Practitioner - EYFS Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework to join their reputable nursery in Cambridge . This role is crucial in delivering exceptional care and education to young children, fostering their development in a safe and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for planning and executing engaging activities that support the holistic growth of each child. Working collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals, you will contribute to creating a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and learning within the esteemed Cambridgeshire setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5, aligned with the EYFS curriculum .
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing regular updates to parents and line managers.
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children under your care.
• Create a stimulating and inspiring learning environment, managing resources effectively.
• Build positive and effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Demonstrable experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .
• Sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
