About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their outstanding nursery in Brighton . This role focuses on providing exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5, ensuring they have a happy and stimulating start to their learning journey. You will work as part of a dedicated team, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and fostering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a highly respected childcare provider in East Sussex and make a real difference in the lives of young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement creative and engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in your care.
• Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
• Maintain excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
• Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and supportive learning environment in Brighton .

Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Proven experience working with children within the EYFS framework.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
• Excellent communication, observation, and assessment skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to childcare.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
