Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the individual needs and developmental stages of children.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents.
• Support children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained throughout the nursery.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with young children in a formal childcare setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative.
