Early Years Practitioner - Nursery

About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join a highly regarded nursery in Nottingham . This role focuses on providing exceptional care and education for young children aged from birth to five years, fostering their development in a safe, stimulating, and playful environment. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the planning and delivery of engaging activities that support children's learning across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Observe and document children's progress, maintaining accurate learning records.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and commitment to their development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
