About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their pioneering remote childcare service, servicing families in Cardiff and beyond. This unique role allows you to deliver engaging and educational experiences to young children entirely through digital platforms. You will design and facilitate online activities, support children's learning and development, and collaborate closely with parents to foster a positive home-learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver creative, age-appropriate online learning activities and lesson plans for early years children.
• Conduct virtual observations and assessments of children's developmental progress, documenting findings accurately.
• Engage children in interactive online sessions, promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Provide guidance and support to parents/guardians on how to facilitate learning and play at home, acting as a key point of contact.
• Ensure adherence to all online safety protocols and safeguarding policies, maintaining a secure virtual learning space.

Requirements

• Hold a relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or similar early years setting.
• Familiarity with online learning tools, video conferencing software, and digital communication platforms.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive, adaptable attitude towards remote working.
