About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their well-regarded nursery in Bristol . You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes their overall development. This role involves planning and delivering a range of engaging activities, working closely with colleagues, and supporting children's individual learning journeys within the South West England region. You will be a vital part of a team committed to excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a creative and challenging curriculum based on the EYFS framework .
- Observe, assess, and track children's progress, documenting learning and development effectively.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children in your care.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, promoting home-school partnerships.
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Uphold the nursery's high standards of care and ensure compliance with all policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience working in an early years setting is essential.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with young children.
