Early Years Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their vibrant childcare setting in Coventry . You will play a crucial role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop holistically. Working as part of a committed team, you will implement engaging activities, support children's individual needs, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the nursery. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a range of stimulating and age-appropriate play-based learning experiences.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring individual developmental needs are met.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and hygiene of all children under your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's progress and day-to-day activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of care and education.

Requirements

• NVQ/CACHE Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery or similar setting.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in Coventry .
