About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their innovative childcare setting in Brighton . This role involves providing high-quality care and education for children within the early years framework, with a focus on creative learning and development. While the core duties are on-site, there may be opportunities for hybrid working on specific projects or administrative tasks, offering a blend of direct childcare and remote contribution. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for their future learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, child-led activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Observe and document children's learning and development, creating progress reports and individual learning journeys.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting excellent communication.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the nursery environment.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's provision.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
