Early Years Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their vibrant nursery in Birmingham . You will be instrumental in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where young children can learn, play, and develop to their full potential. This role involves direct interaction with children, planning and delivering educational activities, and working closely with parents to support each child's individual learning journey. We are looking for a proactive individual who is committed to best practices in early childhood education and eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences for children aged 0-5, following the EYFS curriculum .
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and colleagues.
• Ensure the physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being of every child under your care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, fostering their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve nursery goals and best practice standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Experience working with children in an early years setting is desirable.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
