Early Years Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Early Years Specialist to join their reputable childcare organisation in Oxford . This role involves providing expert guidance and support to a network of nurseries and childminders, ensuring the highest standards of practice and care are maintained. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative early years strategies, promoting continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence across all settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and support on curriculum development, pedagogy, and best practice in early years settings.
• Conduct quality assurance visits and provide constructive feedback to nursery managers and staff.
• Develop and deliver training programs for early years professionals on various aspects of childcare and education.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in early years education and implement relevant changes.
• Assist with the implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across all affiliated sites.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the organisation's early years provision.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Significant experience working in a senior role within the early years sector (e.g., Manager, SENCO, Inspector).
• Deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and other relevant legislative frameworks.
• Expertise in child development, curriculum design, and inclusive practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and support a diverse range of early years professionals.
