About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Early Years Support Worker to join their reputable nursery in Plymouth . This full-time role is essential in supporting the lead practitioners and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the nursery. You will work closely with children aged 0-5, assisting in their care, learning, and development within a stimulating and safe environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children.
• Support lead practitioners in delivering daily activities and educational programs.
• Help children with personal care routines, including feeding, changing, and hygiene.
• Observe children's play and learning, contributing to their developmental records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential; a passion for working with children is key.
• A positive, caring, and patient attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and undertake relevant training, such as Level 2 in Childcare.
• Understanding of basic child safeguarding principles.
