About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons and learning experiences for early years children.
• Assess and monitor children's progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes all areas of development.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement nursery policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safeguarding and health and safety regulations in Cardiff .

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised early years teaching qualification.
• Proven experience as an Early Years Teacher or in a similar role.
• Deep understanding of child development and effective pedagogical approaches for young children.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
