Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3)

The Role

Working within Nursery or Reception, you'll support children's learning through play, encourage their social and emotional development and help create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children within an EYFS setting through employment or placements.
• A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, engaging and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learning through play.
• Delivering engaging activities alongside the class teacher.
• Encouraging communication, language and early literacy.
• Promoting children's confidence and independence.
• Building positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development.
