Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Blackpool from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both Nursery and Reception, supporting children during the crucial early stages of their education. The school is seeking a nurturing and proactive individual who is passionate about helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception classes. Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions. Assist in creating an engaging, stimulating and safe learning environment. Support children's personal, social and emotional development. Help prepare learning resources and classroom activities. Monitor and record pupil progress where required. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience working within an EYFS setting. A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Relevant childcare, education or Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
