Key Responsibilities

• Support apprentices working in nurseries and other childcare settings, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Create personalised learning plans tailored to each apprentice's needs, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
• Demonstrate how functional skills such as maths and English are applied within early years care.
• Build strong relationships with employers and provide regular updates on apprentice progress.
• Manage administrative responsibilities and plan workloads effectively using Google Workspace and other systems. A typical week includes approximately three days travelling to visit apprentices across the designated region, with the remaining time spent working remotely from home.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
• Strong organisational skills and confidence using technology.
• A Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) qualification in English and maths, or a willingness to achieve these qualifications.
• A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle to travel throughout the region. xwwtmva
