If you’re an EC&I Engineer who enjoys solving real engineering problems , working on varied industrial projects and getting involved from design through to commissioning, this role will be right up your street.

A well-established engineering company in the South East is expanding its project team and is looking for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer to support a growing pipeline of industrial and process engineering work.

This is not a “sit behind a desk all day” engineering role. You’ll be involved in design, system integration, installation and commissioning , working closely with clients to deliver reliable automation and control solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing electrical and control systems for industrial environments
• Developing PLC and automation solutions
• Producing electrical schematics and engineering documentation
• Supporting panel builds, installations and system integration
• Attending client sites for commissioning and troubleshooting
• Working on projects that improve automation, efficiency and plant performance

You’ll see projects through from concept to completion , giving you genuine ownership of the engineering work.

The Kind of Engineer We're Looking For

• EC&I / Electrical / Control Systems engineering experience
• Background in industrial or process environments
• Knowledge of PLC systems and automation
• Ability to read and produce electrical drawings and schematics
• Comfortable working both in the office and on site
• Someone who enjoys practical engineering and problem solving

Experience That Would Be Useful

• HNC / HND / Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering
• Experience in sectors like manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, aggregates, chemicals or heavy industry
• Exposure to SCADA systems or industrial automation platforms
• Commissioning experience
