About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist to join their supportive team based in Brighton . This dynamic role involves assessing, diagnosing, and intervening in a range of psychological and learning difficulties experienced by children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals to promote the well-being and educational attainment of young people. This position offers a blend of on-site and remote working, providing flexibility and the opportunity to impact positively on the lives of many students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions and support strategies.
- Provide consultation and training to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders on issues related to child development and learning.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of educational policies and practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records in accordance with professional standards.
- Undertake research and disseminate findings to inform practice.
Requirements
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology.
- Professional accreditation and registration with the relevant governing body (e.g., HCPC).
- Significant experience working as an Educational Psychologist with children and adolescents.
- Expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and ethical practice.
