About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and empathetic Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated team serving schools and educational settings in and around Bristol . In this vital role, you will provide expert psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation to support the learning, emotional, and behavioural development of children and young people. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to understand and address psychological needs, promoting positive outcomes for students. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people to identify learning, developmental, and behavioural needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions and support strategies.
• Provide consultation and training to teachers, parents, and other professionals on a range of psychological and educational issues.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of school-wide positive behaviour support systems.
• Undertake risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding procedures where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records, adhering to professional ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• A postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Professional registration with the relevant governing body (e.g., HCPC in the UK).
• Significant experience working with children and adolescents in an educational context.
• In-depth knowledge of child development, learning theories, and psychometric assessment.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
