Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students identified with specific learning needs or difficulties.
• Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and setting up classroom activities.
• Supervise students during unstructured times, such as break times and lunch periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion.
• Help maintain classroom order and tidiness, and assist with administrative tasks as directed by the teaching staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
• A good level of general education, with a strong command of English and mathematics.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student learning and development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from teaching staff.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development opportunities.
