Your New Role

As an Electrical Assembly Operative, you will play a key role in the production and assembly of high-quality machinery and equipment. Working closely with the Production Manager and wider engineering team, you will be responsible for electrical installations, assembly work, product customisation, and quality assurance responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Production Manager to achieve daily and weekly production targets
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering processes
• Assembling and fitting components on production lines to create finished machines
• Carrying out minor modifications to components to meet customer requirements
• Installing, routing, and terminating electrical looms up to 480V AC
• Using a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Performing quality inspections and completing sign-off documentation
• Following all company health and safety procedures and production processes
• Completing work accurately and to agreed deadlines
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings
• Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30 and Fri until 1.30

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematic drawings
• Experience working within a manufacturing, assembly, or engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Ability to complete work to a high standard within required timescales

Desirable Criteria

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline
• Previous electrical maintenance experience
• Experience of electrical assembly and wiring within a manufacturing environment
