Electrical Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control systems, including panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for automated machinery.
• Program and commission PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and associated HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and control system issues during installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation.
• Specify electrical components, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation required for control solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
• Implement and ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and control system best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems .
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) and HMI/SCADA software.
• Solid understanding of industrial networks, motor control, and power electronics.
• Experience with robotics integration is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to work.
