Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join their manufacturing operations in Liverpool . You will work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance, troubleshoot control system issues, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, HMI screens, and network configurations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control system faults on the production line.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation improvements.
- Ensure all control systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial control systems engineering.
- Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI software.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation principles, VFDs, servo systems, and robotics.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and schematics.
