Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh . Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control panels and systems for automated machinery and processes.
• Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA systems.
• Implement and troubleshoot industrial automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on control systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing PLC-based control systems .
• Proficiency with programming languages for common PLC brands (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Familiarity with industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
