We are a global Vision Systems expert designing, building and integrating bespoke automated machinery and vision systems for major conglomerates such as Jaguar and PepsiCo. This role offers a chance to become the go‑to Electrical Design Engineer with specialist training on Vision Engineering and real progression to senior levels.

In this role you will work on roughly 7 projects a year, starting with laying out the system architecture for automated machinery following designs from the Vision team, then using AutoCAD Electrical to draw and design your electrical schematics. You will be responsible for seeing the project all the way through from submitting quotations for designs to supporting operatives building your design.

This position offers a variety of projects, real progression, and the opportunity to be the primary Design Engineer.

The Role

• Design bespoke automated machinery for manufacturers.
• Use Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and create electrical designs in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Keep schematics drawings up to date throughout the projects.
• Support control engineers and operatives in the build and diagnosis of machinery.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday (9am‑5pm, flexitime). Potential hybrid working after probation.

The Person

• Electrical Design Engineer with automation experience.
• Experience designing bespoke machinery.
• Willing to commute to the office in Didcot.
