Electrical Design Engineer - Automation

You will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics, control panels, and wiring diagrams for automated machinery and systems using CAD software.
• Specify electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into larger automated solutions.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation for manufacturing and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the testing and commissioning phases of projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards for automation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a focus on industrial automation .
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and control system design principles.
• Experience with 3D CAD software for electrical design is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.
