Electrical Design Engineer - Industrial Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels and systems for automated machinery and manufacturing lines, adhering to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and component specifications using CAD software.
• Select appropriate electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, and sensors, based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and control systems.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments , and verification processes to ensure safety and functionality.
• Provide remote technical support during system commissioning and troubleshooting phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design for industrial automation applications.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and knowledge of PLC programming platforms.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities for a remote work environment.
