Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with a specialization in Industrial Automation to join their fully remote engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels and systems for automated machinery and manufacturing lines, adhering to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and component specifications using CAD software.
- Select appropriate electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, and sensors, based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and control systems.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments , and verification processes to ensure safety and functionality.
- Provide remote technical support during system commissioning and troubleshooting phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design for industrial automation applications.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and knowledge of PLC programming platforms.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for a remote work environment.
