Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for renewable energy installations, including PV arrays, wind turbines, and energy storage systems.
- Develop detailed single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical layouts.
- Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
- Specify electrical equipment and components, such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, and cables.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), and client specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and site installation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of solar PV system design, grid-tied inverters, and battery storage systems.
- Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and simulation tools.
- Understanding of electrical safety principles and practices.
