Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for renewable energy installations, including solar farms, wind turbines, and battery storage systems.
- Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment specifications .
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new renewable energy projects.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, grid codes, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on power systems.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design, with a significant portion focused on renewable energy .
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools relevant to the renewables sector.
- Strong understanding of grid connection requirements and power quality issues.
- Experience with energy storage systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote team integration.
