Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for various engineering projects.
• Design and specify electrical control panels, power distribution systems, and safety circuits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure design feasibility and integration.
• Perform calculations for voltage drop, power requirements, and component sizing.
• Conduct design reviews, prototype testing, and troubleshoot electrical issues during the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the engineering department.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Solid experience in electrical design, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Understanding of PLC programming and HMI design principles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
