Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electrical design team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Develop and implement electrical design standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
• Oversee the creation of detailed electrical designs, schematics, specifications, and reports for various projects.
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements, client specifications, and project deadlines.
• Collaborate with other departments, including project management, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review technical proposals, submittals, and design changes, providing expert approval and guidance.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong design background.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a management or team leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design, power distribution, control systems, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and simulation software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office environment in Reading .
