Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to contribute to their expanding portfolio of renewable energy projects in Glasgow . This role is essential for supporting the design, development, and operational phases of wind farm and solar installations. You will work as part of a committed team focused on delivering sustainable energy solutions, gaining hands-on experience with complex electrical systems from grid connection to component level. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, engineering, and technical specification of electrical systems for renewable energy installations.
• Support the procurement and installation of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and cabling.
• Conduct technical reviews and inspections of electrical work on site and in manufacturing facilities.
• Contribute to the development of operational and maintenance procedures for electrical assets.
• Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for system optimisation and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and external contractors to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in the energy sector, particularly with renewables, is highly desirable.
• Understanding of electrical power systems, grid codes, and protection principles.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
