Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, and lighting.
• Prepare electrical engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Conduct electrical safety assessments and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in plant operations.
• Manage electrical maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the oil and gas or process industry .
• Proficiency with electrical design software and power system analysis tools.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
• Strong understanding of hazardous area classifications and electrical safety principles.
