Electrical Engineer

for someone who is personable self-starter with the ability to project a positive 'can do' professional attitude at all times maintaining good working relationships. Someone who enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines being able to establish excellent working rapport within the team, business and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers with detailed design tasks and drawing production on data centre and other projects.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs smoothly into overall projects.
• Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
• Coordinate workload to complete the document on schedule.
• Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
• Write/edit electrical specifications and select electrical systems and devices.

Qualifications

• BEng, MSc or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or relevant subject.
• Minimum 3yrs industry experience in Electrical Design.
• Electrical design experience working on Data Center/Data Centre/Mission Critical projects is ESSENTIAL.
• Previous experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and Revit.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
