Electrical Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical direction and performance management.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for marine vessels and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure all electrical engineering designs and projects meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including classification society requirements.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with senior management, project managers, and clients to define project scope, technical strategies, and business objectives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Extensive experience (12+ years) in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a management or team leadership role.
• Proven track record in the marine or naval engineering sector, with a deep understanding of maritime electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of naval electrical standards, power distribution, control systems, and automation.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
